bon bébé is committed to corporate social responsibility and ethical behavior practices by constantly monitoring, educating and improving social responsibility in all facets of our business. From our suppliers, to our factories, partners, and colleagues, we require that the highest standards of integrity and compliance be met and maintained.
We have dedicated teams based in Hong Kong and Indonesia who constantly visit and work with our factories and suppliers to assure adherence to our social compliance code of conduct.
SAFETY ASSURANCE
Our main objective is to ensure the manufacture of the highest quality products that are safe for our customers in an environment consistent with internationally recognized labor standards. We consistently audit and monitor production practices and product quality at all levels of the supply chain. Our employees, suppliers and vendors reflect our ethics and values no matter where our products are manufactured. All raw materials and/or products are tested by independent third-party organizations such as Bureau Veritas and Consumer Testing Laboratories (CTL).
The CPSIA stands for the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act of 2008. The purpose is to "establish consumer product safety standards and other safety requirements for children's products and to reauthorize and modernize the Consumer Product Safety Commission." All of our factories conduct testing to meet all applicable rules, bans, regulations and standards under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) or any other Act enforced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN
For the past twenty years bon bébé has developed and maintained strong partnerships with key suppliers across the globe. Our products are manufactured throughout Asia – in China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, among others. All products are manufactured by factories with whom we have strategic partnerships. We control the production output of all of these factories through our company-owned, global sourcing and procurement offices in Hong Kong and Nanjing. Our global vendor strategy allows us to source competitively in virtually every apparel category.
GIVING BACK
We support charities for babies and mothers that are in need of a little comfort. We share the love by donating to children’s hospitals and women’s shelters.
